At the beginning of this month, LATAM signed a contract with Aercap to lease another six Airbus A321neo aircraft. With this new commitment from the company, the company will be able to have up to 46 aircraft of this version in its fleet.

The agreement with Aercap is a complement to LATAM's original order for 70 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, including an order for 40 A321neo aircraft that we previously published here on the AEROFLAP Portal.

These orders are from the entire LATAM Group. LATAM Brasil does not have exclusivity in ordering aircraft, which are distributed according to the head office's planning.

All aircraft ordered by LATAM are equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines. The ACF interior, which allows for additional space for 20 seats on the A321neo, will also be fitted to the next aircraft of this model.

LATAM Brasil has 6 A320neo aircraft in its fleet, while the Group has a total of 12 A320neo aircraft (including the aircraft of the Brazilian branch).

As a result, the company will receive another 64 aircraft from the A320neo family in the coming years.
