Already in the decisive climate of the Libertadores, Azul took advantage of the special occasion to charter its largest aircraft to Uruguay with exclusive flights for Flamengo fans and Palmeirans.
First, due to the high demand for flights for those who want to follow closely, many airlines have made available the sale of tickets for charter flights. In addition to Blue, Gol and Itapemirim also took advantage of the high demand and also flew to Uruguay.
For the Libertadores special mission, Azul allocated two A330neo to Montevideo, the PR-ANW and the PR-ANZ, with flights coming from Campinas (V) and Galeão (GIG), respectively.
However, the flight responsible for taking the Palmeiras fans arrived first in Montevideo aboard the PR-ANW. The aircraft completed an AD9700 flight when taking off from Viracopos at around 9:46 am, arriving in Uruguay at 12:10 pm.

The exclusive flight for Flamengo fans was operated by the aircraft ed PR-ANZ. The A330 took flight AD 9718 between Rio de Janeiro via Galeão and Montevideo, taking off at around 09:25 am and arriving at around 12:34 pm in the Uruguayan capital.

Interestingly, the A330neo is Azul's aircraft with the highest enger capacity alongside the A330ceo. The aircraft can carry up to 298 engers divided into two classes, 34 in business class and 264 in economy class.
However, Azul uses the A330neo on domestic flights from Campinas, connecting the city of São Paulo to the cities of Recife and Belém. In addition, the A330 is also used on international routes such as Fort Lauderdale, in the United States, and Lisbon, in Portugal.
