The information shared by the website Affar Italiani lists Lufthansa's interest in increasing the group's dominance in European Aviation, to consolidate its leadership using mainly the hubs in Milan (Malpensa) and Rome (Fiumicino).
According to sources consulted by the website, the agreement could be closed before the European summer of 2022, placing Lufthansa at the forefront of European aviation this year.
At the same time, ITA Airways changes its probability of hip in an alliance, as the Lufthansa Group has its airlines d with Star Alliance. Delta Airlines recently signed a codeshare agreement with ITA.

The company recently signed an agreement for the acquisition of dozens of modern A350-900, A330neo, A320neo and A220 aircraft.
