The route will be operated by Cia Azul, with the ATR-72 aircraft, which has a capacity of 70 seats.

In addition to being a national reference in the offshore sector, Macaé stands out for its tourism and business infrastructure, and the resumption of commercial flights is yet another service to meet the mobility demand in the region.

For engers from Macaé, the flight option is a quick and safe way to connect to different destinations, as Santos Dumont Airport connects with important cities in Brazil, such as Florianópolis, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Salvador, Recife, Belo Horizonte , Congonhas, Viracopos, Brasília and Cuiabá.

Azul resumes the route with 2 weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays. As of the week of May 17th, the airline plans to add one more frequency, offering the Macaé – Santos Dumont route three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Landing in Macaé is scheduled for 13:15 pm, and takeoff at 14:XNUMX pm.

It is worth noting that the airline network is dynamic, and times, dates and number of flights per week may change by the airline. Therefore, the recommendation is that the enger always check the status of the flight before boarding.

Zurich Airport Brasil, the concessionaire that manages Macaé Airport, recently announced the construction of a new and modern terminal that will open in 2023, reinforcing its commitment to contribute to the development of the city in 3 pillars: tourism, offshore and logistics.
