The Eduardo Gomes International Airport in Manaus will receive in the next few days a special operation by a rare visitor to Brazil, the Boeing 757. The North American charter and cargo airline, National Airlines will operate a charter flight to the capital of Manaus .
Using a Boeing 757 configured to transport 174 engers, National returned to flights to Manaus a little less than two months ago.
In January, the airline made a charter flight in Manaus with the Airbus A330 with the capacity to carry 285 engers on board. The charter, as well as the operation of the Boeing 757, was also to bring tourists for the 2022 and 2023 cruise season.
The operation of National's Boeing 757 is scheduled for March 03, with the aircraft arriving in the capital of Manaus at 16:00 pm from Miami. Its takeoff is scheduled for 19:00 on the 03rd.
Hours earlier, Eduardo Gomes Airport will receive the Boeing 777 from Omni Air International, carrying out another charter to transport tourists for the cruise season, as well as in the operation carried out in January. The widebody will arrive in Manaus at around 14:30 pm, also coming from Miami, and its takeoff is expected to take place at 17:30 pm. More than 2.700 tourists are expected this week for the cruise season.
The schedules foreseen in ANAC's SIROS with the arrival and departure of aircraft may be changed without any prior notice.

Action with Spotters
In order to the rare presence of aircraft in the January visit, a group of approximately 15 spotters was granted special access by vinci airports brazil.
The , who took control of the Manaus airport terminal in 2022, opened part of the old terrace for aircraft photographers. The location, a kind of terminal balcony, had been deactivated since the 2000s and was reopened to spotters for the occasion.
It is not yet known whether the same action will take place at Manaus Airport to the arrival of the Boeing 757 from National and the Boeing 777 from Omni.
