The first Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) 737-800 NG, acquired last year by Modern Logistics, has just received certification from the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to begin operating in national airspace. This is the first of two Boeing 737-800 NG recently acquired by the company. The certified aircraft has already started operating, and the second NG is expected to be delivered in the first half of the year.

“We are very excited about the release of our first 737-800 NG. The capacity and operational efficiency of the new aircraft will boost the company's future success, and will better respond to the needs and demands of our customers, in addition to being in line with our sustainability goals”, highlights Cristiano Koga, CEO of Modern Logistics.

The certification process for Modern Logistics' first Boeing involved all areas of the company in the various stages, from the economic feasibility study and choice of aircraft model, through the review of manuals and internal procedures, training of pilots, mechanics and engineers, up to the operational evaluation flights carried out with the monitoring and supervision of the regulatory body ANAC. These flights made it possible to validate Modern Logistics' internal processes in a real operation.

“In addition to the dedication of the entire Modern Logistics team involved in the project, ANAC's commitment and collaboration was fundamental to the successful completion of this project, allowing Modern to operate within all safety and quality standards”, says Mario da Costa , CFO of Modern Logistics.
