On June 28, the activation of the Implementation Nucleus of the 1st General Employment Helicopter Squadron of the North (NI-EsqdHU-41), headquartered in Belém-PA.
The military will use a hangar, made available by the Brazilian Air Force, inside the ALA 9 facilities, provided through a cooperation agreement between the two Forces.
The NI-EsqdHU-41 is the element directly subordinated to the Command of the 4th Naval District (Com4ºDN), which will be responsible for creating and implementing norms and operating and logistical procedures necessary for the creation of the EsqdHU-41, scheduled for November.
Com4ºDN received the first aircraft of the 1ºEsqdHU-41, on May 1st and, since then, has used the helicopter in rescue, rescue, naval inspections, in of the Port Authority, the Patrol Group Command Ships Naval do Norte and the 2nd Riverside Operations Battalion, in training, among others. Soon, the 1ºEsqdHU-41 will receive two more UH-15 helicopters, starting to operate at full capacity.
