On June 28, the activation of the Deployment Center of the 1st General Purpose Helicopter Squadron of the North (NI-EsqdHU-41), based in Belém-PA, was carried out.</div> </div> The military will use a hangar, made available by the Brazilian Air Force, within the ALA 9 facilities, provided through a cooperation agreement between the two Forces.</div> </div> The NI-EsqdHU-41 is the element directly subordinate to the Command of the 4th Naval District (Com4ºDN), which will be responsible for the creation and implementation of operational and logistical standards and procedures necessary for the creation of EsqdHU-41, scheduled for November.</div> </div> The 4th Naval Command received the first aircraft of the 1st Squadron HU-41 on May 1st and, since then, has been using the helicopter in rescue operations, naval inspections, in of the Harbor Master's Office, the Ships of the Northern Naval Patrol Group Command and the 2nd Battalion of Riverine Operations, in training, among others.
