About the operation

The new system, a reference in international airports and already present in the airports of Florianópolis and Natal, in Brazil, was implemented in the gates at the entry and exit routes of the airport site. The driver receives a ticket for free access to the curb (both on the check-in and arrivals floors) for 10 minutes. If this time is exceeded, R$ 20,00 is charged for every 10 minutes exceeded, which can be paid at any Estapar Self-Service Terminal (including pockets near the exit gates).

These amounts do not characterize a fine. This is a charge for the excess use of the infrastructure. Those wishing to stay longer at the airport, beyond the period indicated for boarding and disembarking vehicles, can go directly to the parking lot using the same ticket.

PCDs (Persons with Disabilities) who need a time greater than the 10 minutes stipulated for boarding and disembarking at the enger Terminal curb must send an email to [email protected], with the subject “PCD – curbside use, containing: full name, date of travel, flight number, flight time, airline and copy of the beneficiary's Credential, as provided for in law 13.146/15. This information must be sent at least 72 hours before the flight date. The maximum time limit for exemption will be 30 minutes (including the initial 10 minutes of tolerance). All information is on the Porto Alegre Airport website https://portoalegre-airport.com.br/pt/institucional/ibilidade.
