Microsoft decided to continue with its concept used in previous generations of Flight Simulator, and in the new game, which should be released in 2020, the company wants to maintain for third-party add-ons and plugins.
This means that the new game can airports produced by third parties, as well as aircraft from famous developers PMDG and Aerosoft.
Thus, the concept of a real simulator will be highlighted again, since these add-ons usually add a layer of complexity to the aircraft, enabling real aircraft commands, either through clicks or real-size surfaces connected in the simulator.
So we can expect a game very similar to FSX, but updated with very real graphics and new features.
According to Microsoft, the new game was developed based on state-of-the-art graphics technologies, with the help of the power of the cloud and Azure technology to deliver a look even closer to reality.
According to Microsoft, the scenarios were taken directly from satellite data, both visually and from the topography of the place, so we can expect a very realistic scenario in areas of Brazil such as Rio de Janeiro and Recife.
It will be available to run on Windows 10 and XBOX platforms, the resolution will be up to 4K (Ultra HD).
