Pakistan received five Chinese-made UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). Cai Hong 4 (CH-4) UAVs can be used in long-duration and medium-altitude missions.
The drones are manufactured by the Chinese company Aerospace Long-March International Trade Co Ltd (ALIT) and were delivered to the Pakistanis on January 15th.
However, it was not confirmed which exact model was purchased and also the quantity purchased by Pakistan.
According to website janes there are the CH-4A and CH-4B models, the former has reconnaissance capability and can fly for up to 30 hours, while the CH-4B has attack capability.
It is also believed that the C version of the CH-4 exists, a version that has received modifications in relation to its predecessors.
