Photos and Video: FAB C-99 transports patients and medical staff from Manaus (AM) to São Luís (MA)

The FAB is transporting COVID-99 patients and medical staff from Manaus (AM) to São Luís (MA) on a C-19 aircraft. The flight left the capital of Amazonas at 19:17 pm and is expected to land in São Luís at 21:15 pm.

This morning, two other C-99s transported patients and medical staff from Manaus to Teresina (PI).

The FAB is committed to transporting around 235 patients from Manaus to other locations, such as São Luís, Teresina, João Pessoa, Natal, Brasília and Goiânia.  

Logistic operations:

Continuing the missions that aim to minimize impacts on the health system in Manaus (AM), the Brazilian Air Force is flying with various hospital equipment to help the demand in the Amazonian capital.

Also on today's date (15/01), a KC-390 carried 8,5 tons of hospital equipment from Recife to Manaus.

A C-130 also transported six tanks of liquid oxygen from Guarulhos (SP) to Manaus (AM) on today's date.
