Last Thursday at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Seymour Walker, a 45-year-old pilot identified by the Houston Police Department, was being sought on a warrant for assault and domestic violence.
The pilot was removed from Flight 3195 before it departed Houston for Dallas. Police waited until the plane arrived at a designated gate at George Bush Intercontinental Airport at approximately 16 p.m. local time. After the engers disembarked, officers boarded the aircraft and took the pilot into “custody without incident.”
In a note sent to CBS News, Frontier Airlines confirmed the event and stated: “The situation occurred before boarding began for flight 3195 from IAH to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW). The lack of a replacement crew member led to the cancellation of the flight.”
engers received a full refund, credit or a spot on the next available flight Frontier.
In a video captured by a enger, Walker can be seen being escorted by three officers off the aircraft while handcuffed and taken to a patrol car. The pilot was arrested before boarding for Flight 3195 to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport began.
