The only victim was heroically rescued by Los Angeles police with multiple bruises. The rescue, carried out efficiently and quickly, helped to preserve the life of the 70-year-old pilot, who is reportedly in stable health. There was no information on whether the pilot suffered trauma after the accident.

The FAA and NTSB will launch an investigation into the possible failures of the aircraft. There was no start of fire and there were no injuries on the train.
