Pratt & Whitney has announced more than 800 orders and commitments for GTF engines, including spare engines, since the beginning of 2023. Airlines and lessors that have announced orders include Azorra, CALC, Carlyle Aviation Partners, Binter, Croatia Airlines, LATAM Airlines, Qantas Airways, United Airlines and Volaris. In total, over 10.000 orders and commitments for GTF engines have been placed by over 90 customers worldwide.
Since entering service in 2016, GTF-powered aircraft have saved airlines more than 1,2 billion gallons (nearly five billion liters) of fuel and the planet more than 12 million metric tons of carbon emissions. . GTF engines currently power more than 1.600 aircraft and have accumulated more than 23 million flight hours on nearly six million flights, carrying around 860 million engers to their destinations.
