The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) announces the election of Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines, as Chairman of the Executive Committee for the period 2024-2025.
“We are honored to have Roberto as President. His strategic vision and track record of innovative leadership will guide ALTA’s initiatives to contribute to strengthening aviation in a sustainable and efficient manner,” said José Ricardo Botelho, CEO of ALTA.
“ALTA has been growing and strengthening its work to develop an essential service in Latin America and the Caribbean. Aviation is not only an engine of socioeconomic growth, but often the only transportation option available to the population. Together, we will continue working so that more and more people can use air transport, the safest, most efficient and increasingly sustainable means of transportation,” said Alvo.
ALTA would like to thank Adrian Neuha, CEO of Abra Group, for his dedication, guidance and during his presidency of ALTA. Neuha remains on the ALTA Executive Committee as Vice Chairman, alongside Pedro Heilbron – CEO, John Rodgerson, CEO of Azul, Tracy Cooper, CEO of Bahamasair and Andres Conesa, CEO of Aeromexico.
