International is on the rise. In the first 24 hours after the end of restrictions for Brazilians to some destinations in Europe, the search on the company's website for flights to these places exploded. For Madrid, for example, it grew by 200%. And for Portugal, 300%.
“This number just proves the great pent-up demand we have for this market and makes us even more confident that we will return to operating the 26 international destinations we had before the pandemic as vaccination progresses”, celebrates Diogo Elias, Director of Sales and Marketing at Latam.
Currently, the airline is operating in 13 destinations, with approximately 20% of its available seat capacity. With the opening of some borders announced last week, the company decided to anticipate the resumption of another international destination from November: Barcelona.
