In recent days, Airbus and Boeing released their aircraft delivery data in April 2022, and also for the year. So this is a good time to gather that data.
Even without mass deliveries of widebody aircraft, Boeing closed April with 35 aircraft delivered, the majority (28) of the 737 MAX family, with three more Boeing 777-300ER, two Boeing 767-2C and one Boeing 747 -8F completing the month numbers. In the accumulated result for the year, Boeing has already delivered 131 aircraft.
Highlight for GOL, which in April received two new 737 MAX 8 airplanes, directly from the Seattle facility.
Airbus, on the other hand, successfully delivering its entire range of aircraft, closed the month with 48 deliveries, comprising four Airbus A220-300s, 20 Airbus A230neo model aircraft, 17 Airbus A321neo, one Airbus A330-300, one Airbus A330-900, three Airbus A350-900 and two Airbus A350-1000.
And Airbus has already accumulated 190 deliveries in four months, with 54 customers responsible for receiving the company's planes. However, the manufacturer said in the statement that 188 planes were officially delivered, as AEROFLOT could not receive two A350-900s already manufactured.
The European manufacturer also led in orders in the month of April, accumulating a total of 98 aircraft ordered by its customers, while Boeing received only 46 orders.
