SKY Airline, a low-cost Chilean airline, made the first flight on its new international route Santiago-Salvador (BA) yesterday, December 26th (Thursday).
The Airbus A320Neo, prefix CC-AZE, landed in Salvador this Thursday and is SKY's fourth frequency in Brazil, which already operates flights between Santiago and the Brazilian cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Florianópolis.
The Santiago-Salvador route is served three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and runs until March 1, 2020.
“Salvador is one of the preferred destinations for Chileans and being able to provide engers with the possibility to fly directly between Santiago and Salvador means a great step forward for our operation. We are very happy!”, explains the commercial director of SKY Airline, Carmen Gloria Serrat.

SKY Airline has been operating in Brazil since November 2018 and the entry of the new frequency means the success of the low cost model in the country.
“Just one year after entering this market, we have already added four destinations to Brazil. This reflects the good result we had in this country and our goal of helping Chileans to access a wider range of international routes at low prices”, said Serrat.
The Chilean airline expects Salvador to become a favorite holiday destination, not only reaching Chilean tourists, but foreigners as well.
All routes to Brazil are operated with the new fleet of A320neo aircraft, the newest and most modern of a low-cost airline in South America. Information and reservations at www.skyairline.com
