“SkyWest operates more E175 jets than any other company in the world. With these aircraft, we will have approximately 240 E175 aircraft operating with airlines in North America. We are proud to reach two million flight hours on the E175 this month. Our customers love the E175 and we have great confidence in our partnership with Embraer, which we very much appreciate.”, said Chip Childs, President and CEO of SkyWest.
“The excellent partnership with SkyWest continues with this new delivery to Delta Air Lines. The E175 is the backbone of the North American regional market, and as the aviation industry begins to emerge from the pandemic, we see increasing long-term demand for aircraft that are adequately sized to provide profitable operation in domestic connectivity. The E175 has been crucial for operators as they are perfectly suited to rebuilding routes, adding frequencies and incremental capacity to meet the recovery in domestic demand.”, said Mark Neely, Director of Marketing and Sales for the Americas at Embraer Commercial Aviation.
