Small private plane crashes in Itapeva (MG) and leaves seven dead

A small plane crashed this Sunday morning (28) at around 10:36 am, the accident occurred in the neighborhood of Monjolinho, rural area of ​​Itapeva (MG).

According to preliminary information from the Fire Department, the aircraft disintegrated in the air, causing the death of seven occupants, five engers and two crew (pilot and co-pilot).

The accident aircraft was a Piper PA46 turboprop, ed PS-MTG, the plane was used exclusively for private service and was airworthy.

Before crashing, the aircraft broke into three larger fragments. Images circulating on the internet show the moment in which some residents found parts of the aircraft. The plane left Amarais Airport, in Campinas–SP, at around 10:10 am, heading towards Belo Horizonte/Pampulha Airport, in Minas Gerais, as reported by G1 Portal.

So far, the cenipa is conducting the investigations, the bodies of the victims are sent to the Pouso Alegre IML for identification.

"Aircraft broke into three larger fragments, of course there were smaller fragments, in a large perimeter. We have the wings and the core of the aircraft. Inside the core of the aircraft were the 7 bodies. But this aircraft crashed upside down. We removed four bodies, and it was possible to remove them in the position they were in. Afterwards, the Fire Department helped us and this aircraft was turned over with Cenipa's authorization. And we removed the others, including the crew“, explained the coroner to Portal G1.
