The demonstrations are part of the commemorations of one of the most important dates in the Brazilian calendar since September 07, 1822, when Dom Pedro I proclaimed the cry of independence on the banks of the Ipiranga River, and Brazil was consolidated as an independent nation.

After the demonstration in Salvador, Fumaça will head to Teresina (PI), which will also receive Brazilian Air Force planes carrying the Brazilian flag on the tail.

“This is a historic moment! The Independence Bicentennial Circuit will have demonstrations of the Smoke Squadron in seven capitals. Performing these presentations in the skies of Brazil for thousands of people is synonymous with independence, democracy and a vigorous and modern Air Force. The smoke trails that will be visualized in the skies will represent all the FAB military and the commitment that our Air Force has with the Brazilian people”, comments Lieutenant-Colonel Aviator Daniel Garcia Pereira, Commander of the Smoke Squadron.

EDA also plans to perform in Fortaleza (CE), on the 27th of August, in Natal (RN) on Sunday (08th), in Recife (PE) on the 28st of September and in Palmas (TO), on the 1rd of September. As these presentations are planned, we will soon release more updates here on the site.
