O SNA (Sindicato Nacional dos Aeronautas) issued an official statement to GOL Linhas Aéreas after complaints from crew about possible irregularities in class three accommodation on Boeing 737 NG/MAX aircraft.
The use of the “Crew Rest Couch” rest class, which is currently operated by GOL, implies the negotiation of a Collective Bargaining Agreement, so that the limits of table B3 of RBAC 117 are respected.
The SNA reinforces that this issue is worrying, especially with regard to flight safety, since there are reports related to the non-provision of an extension belt for the safety of the crew.
“The issue is of particular concern regarding flight safety, since there are reports related to the non-provision of an extension belt for the safety of the crew, as provided for in the ACT on the subject, which expired on 28/02/2021”, said the SNA in the letter.
