The SNA sent a letter to Infraero, to the Municipal Department of Urban Security and to the Santo Amaro Sub-prefecture, requesting maintenance of the lighting in the area close to the parking lot at Congonhas airport and the walkway located at number 6415 of Avenida Washington Luís (corridor North-South), in addition to security guarantees in the airport region.
The SNA received several complaints from aeronauts regarding the lack of security around Congonhas airport, especially in the area close to the parking lot and the aforementioned walkway, which are without lighting, according to reports from crew .
The Union emphasizes that there is a growing number of robberies, thefts and assaults taking place in the airport region, and requests a position on the subject as soon as possible.
