Last week Solojet Aviação received the second aircraft for the aircraft sharing program launched this year, Solojet Shares, a product aimed at the Brazilian market.
The second Hawker 400 is already at Jundiaí Airport and is now undergoing a complete retrofit, which includes interior renovation, new painting and maintenance. Solojet Shares' first Hawker 400 is already shared and in operation. Soon, the company should complete the negotiation of a third aircraft.
In this new business area, the company opted for an excellent cost-effective aircraft model, the Hawker 400, which carries up to 8 engers and has the most spacious cabin in its category (305 cubic feet). Shares of 25% of the property start from US$ 320.
“Our objective in choosing the Hawker 400 was to have, at the same time, an aircraft that was safe, capable of carrying a good number of engers on board and crossing the whole of Brazil. With a good cost-benefit ratio”, explained André Bernstein, director of Solojet Aviação.
Aircraft sharing has existed for more than 20 years and is a success in several countries around the world, especially in the United States, as it allows the acquisition costs and expenses of the aircraft to be divided. “The model is ideal for those who spend a lot on chartering, but still do not need an aircraft for exclusive use.”
In aircraft sharing, the owner only pays the operating costs of the flights themselves. And it also counts on the availability of the aircraft for flights, plus management and maintenance , that is, you don't have to worry about anything.
Another advantage of the Hawker 400 is its performance and, due to the operational ceiling of 45 feet, it provides flights with less turbulence. The model reaches a top speed of 450 knots / 833 km/h and has a maximum range of 1400 nautical miles / 2.592 km. That is, you can go from São Paulo to Recife without stops, for example.
