SpaceX is now ready to launch the SN-11 prototype, thus continuing the testing of prototypes for the company's future super rocket, the Starship.
The SN-11 will be based on data obtained from the SN-10 launch, which took place last week.
According to the NASA Space Flight website, Elon Musk's company is making prototypes up to the SN-20.
First landing of a Starship prototype:
SpaceX's SN10 prototype managed to land successfully after its 10km high test flight, on Wednesday (3), the launch took place at the company's test area in Boca Chica, Texas.
The test was similar to those made with the SN-8 and SN-9, however, these failed to land safely and exploded in the attempt to land.
However, about 7 minutes after landing, the SN-10 suffered a huge explosion, the causes of which are still unknown.
However, the test was considered a success, not least because it was the first to land.

“All in all, a great day for the Starship teams – these test flights are aimed at improving our understanding and development of a fully reusable transport system,” said the company.
The company's prototypes are the basis for the Starship super rocket, which aims to be a fully reusable transport system designed to transport crew and cargo on long-duration interplanetary flights and help humanity return to the Moon, and travel to Mars and beyond.
