The Mines and Energy Commission of the Chamber of Deputies promotes a public hearing on Wednesday (08/12) to discuss the airline sector's fuel agenda, aviation kerosene price policy and alternative fuels.
Representatives of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), Petrobras, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), as well as the Ministries of Mines and Energy and Infrastructure, among others, were invited to the debate. See the complete list of participants here.
the deputy Édio Lopes (PL-RR), who requested the public hearing, recalls that the price of aviation kerosene (QAV) has been suffering successive price increases, as well as gasoline, due to the international price parity policy adopted by Petrobras.
“The increase in the price of QAV this year exceeds by 4,2 percentage points the variation of 43,5% ed by gasoline in the same period”, he affirms
In the request, Lopes cites a resolution approved by the ANP that allows the introduction, in the Brazilian market, of a new type of QAV, the JET A.
“In addition, PL 1873/21, which establishes the National Program for Advanced Renewable Fuels, is being processed in the Chamber of Deputies.”
