An armored car was targeted by robbers at Caxias do Sul (RS) airport, mobilizing security forces around the terminal.
According to information from People's Mail, a vehicle transporting valuables was attacked by black cars disguised with Federal Police (PF) badges at gate 2 of Hugo Cantergiani airport. The incident is being attended to by the Military Brigade (BM) and the Shock Battalion.

The attack occurred at around 19:30 pm, resulting in an intense exchange of fire with security forces and criminals for around 20 minutes. There are reports that a police officer was shot, but did not survive his injuries.
So far, around 10 criminals have participated in the action, who had large caliber weapons, taking some security guards hostage, one of the suspects was also shot.
The criminals left the place around 20 pm, taking hostages in a black pickup truck, which were released in an area further away from the airport. The criminals fled through a thicket. So far, the police are still searching for the robbers.
