Manturov said the Su-75 will be on static display alongside Mil Mi-171A2 and Kamov Ka-226T helicopters. Russia will provide in-flight demonstrations of Ansat, Mi-28NE, Ka-52E helicopters and the MC-21-310 commercial jet with PD-14-30 engines. The Kronshtadt Orion combat drone and the executive version of the Sukhoi Superjet will also be presented in Dubai. The event will be held between the 14th and 18th of this month.

Talking to TASS, an aviation industry source said the Su-75 has generated great interest from abroad. “The UAE is an excellent platform to introduce the aircraft to a wide range of potential partners. A series of closed presentations are planned for delegations as well as an open presentation for visitors and media representatives.”

Checkmate was officially presented at the MAKS 2021 Aerospace Show, in July 2021. The aircraft should make its first flight in 2023, entering production from 2026. The stealth fighter is aimed at the export market and should compete with Saab Gripen, Dassault Rafale and especially with the F-35 Lightning II. Still, Russia already offers an export version of its current stealth fighter, the Su-57E.

Russian state-owned company Rostec considers Argentina, India, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates as potential buyers, in addition to other countries in Africa, the Middle East and South America.
