SWISS receives first Boeing 777-300ER – With video

SWISS is celebrating the receipt of its first Boeing 777-300ER unit today (29/01), the aircraft was delivered in Everett and performed a non-stop flight of approximately 8500 km. In all, SWISS ordered 9 aircraft of the same type together with Boeing.

“Starting today, our customers will be able to enjoy a new dimension of travel,” said Harry Hohmeister, CEO of SWISS.

The SWISS 777-300ER, registration HB-JNA, is equipped with 340 seats in 3 classes, 8 in First Class, 62 in Business and 270 in Economy. The aircraft is equipped with an entertainment system, satellite telephone system (performed in roaming) and wireless internet via Wi-Fi.

The new SWISS aircraft will fly to destinations such as Zurich – New York, and when in high season in Europe to places such as Los Angeles – USA, São Paulo – BRA and San Francisco – USA.
