Customers and partners in this niche market now benefit from greater convenience, availability and resources for cargo transportation, speeding up the import and export of goods within the African continent.

The Company recently incorporated the Boeing 737-800BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) freighter into its fleet, an aircraft used on regular flights from AIAAN. It has the capacity to transport up to 24 tons of cargo, distributed over 141,5 m³ on the main deck and 43,7 m³ for transporting bulk cargo on the lower deck. The B737-800 accommodates up to 10 pallets, in 96×125 inch format.

In January 2024, TAAG transported one thousand tons of diverse cargo between domestic, regional and international destinations.

The start of regular cargo flights from AIAAN is aligned with the subsector's vision, to capitalize on Angola's new airport infrastructure and consolidate Luanda as a regional hub, given its geostrategic location.
