It still does not know the reason that led the Airbus A330neo to need an engine change, according to information yet to be confirmed, the TAP will send a new engine to Recife through Lufthansa Cargo, which operates regularly at the terminal with the Boeing 777.

However, the initial forecast was that this new engine would arrive in Recife in the early hours of last Sunday (16), but the operation did not take place. CS-TUH should have taken flight TP 16 back to Lisbon, but it was cancelled.

TAP's Airbus A330neo is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, an engine manufactured exclusively for Airbus' A330neo range.
