TAP announces reduction of flights to Brazil

The Portuguese flag airline TAP Portugal has announced that it will reduce its flights to Brazil due to the coronavirus spreading across Europe and causing large losses to companies across the continent.

In a note posted on its website, the company listed three routes to Brazil that will be affected by supply cuts.

  • Porto(OPO) – São Paulo(GRU): Suspended until June 16th.
  • Porto(OPO) – Rio de Janeiro(GIG): Suspended until June 16th.
  • Lisbon(LIS) – Porto Alegre(POA): Suspended until June 30th.

The other cities served by TAP in Brazil have not undergone changes or cuts for the time being.
