TAP Air Portugal made some changes to its flights to Brazil this past Monday (1st/11). The company started operating flights to Maceió, and tomorrow (03) it will reopen in Natal, and both destinations will be served with the Airbus A321LR.
TAP will operate flights TP17 and TP18 twice a week (Mondays and Saturdays). This flight departs from Lisbon, with stopover in Recife and final destination Maceió, on the return to Portugal the aircraft visits the same cities.
The aircraft takes off at 12:25 pm from Lisbon (local time) landing in Recife at 17:05 pm, from where it takes off at 18:20 pm and lands in Maceió at 19:10 pm. All times given are local.
Yes, operations between Lisbon and Natal will resume from the 3rd of November. Operated three times a week, the flight will arrive in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte at 21:30 pm, on the first flight of this resumption there will be some actions promoted by the Government of Rio Grande do Norte in conjunction with the Secretary of Tourism and Emprotur.
The A321neo LR from TAP it is configured with 171 seats (16 seats in Business, 48 in Economy and 107 Economy), and allows long-haul flights, creating opportunities for TAP to use this aircraft on routes to the northeast of Brazil and also to the United States.
