TAP will cancel seven flights a day in the winter season, due to various problems

TAP informed that it should readjust its winter operation. This measure is caused by several different problems: the effects of the change to the Top Sky navigation system in Lisbon, the migration of the air control system in Marseille, the expected absenteeism for the Christmas period and the end of the year and, also, the lack of been able to return a plane from Guinea-Conakry.
 
The change in the winter operation will start to be applied from November 15th to December 31st, with the possibility of canceling, on average, up to seven flights per day, on flights with lower occupancy and for which there are several alternatives available. on the TAP network or on partner companies.

engers affected by canceled flights will be informed directly and in a timely manner by TAP, indicating the alternative travel solution. 
 
In order to avoid the cancellation of additional flights, and to maintain the operation at maximum capacity, TAP will also extend the ACMI contract with Air Bulgaria.
 
TAP's teams have carried out a demanding, careful and detailed job to analyze the restrictions that this readjustment causes and to protect both engers and TAP's operation in the best possible way.
