Meanwhile, Airbus expects to make the first flight of the A330neo in September this year, previously the aircraft was scheduled to make its first flight in the first quarter of 2017, which did not occur due to the delay in the production of Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines.

The A330neo schedule may be delayed by up to a year, compared to that previously proposed by Airbus, when it launched the aircraft in 2014.

TAP is also optimistic about deliveries, according to the company's president, TAP is expected to receive three A330neo aircraft by the end of 2018. TAP has ordered 14 A330-900 aircraft, out of a total of 210 orders that Airbus has received up to the timing for the A330neo.
