Three colors of seats will be available for bidding and the value of the pair of chairs will be just over US$ 1.000. The auction will be broadcast Live on Facebook from the company's online store.

This will be a great opportunity for those aviation lovers who like to have aircraft parts at home as a souvenir or even to use. The auction time made by Thai Airways will be from 07:00 UTC, at 04:00 Brasilia time.

It will be the first action of this type that Thai Airways will carry out, the company preferred to sell entire parts of the interior of its aircraft than parts of the plane itself.

Selling aircraft interior parts or crockery is nothing new for Thai Airways, other companies such as British Airways have sold crockery and seats from their old Boeing 747s.

One of the goals is to try to make some financial profit, even if little beyond trying to preserve the company's history for a long time rather than being discarded or destroyed. The company has changed its philosophy regarding this type of action.
