A Sideral Linhas Aéreas Boeing 737-500, registration PR-SDH, was recently rented by company Latitudes, with the purpose of doing a luxury tour in the Amazon.
The tour, which costs US$ 13900, should depart from São Paulo at the end of the year, taking tourists to discover the Amazon biome, as well as the Rio Negro. For this reason the name of the trip on Latitudes is “Private Jet Expedition Rio Negro”.
Sideral will be responsible for carrying out a flight between São Paulo and Manaus, at the other end, in the Capital of Amazonas, Caravan C208 aircraft should depart, taking tourists to a water landing in Novo Airão, in the Rio Negro National Park. For this reason the Caravan is amphibious, to carry out this mission.
The high cost, in addition to the entire scheme of the excursion on the Rio Negro, is also due to the VIP configuration of the Sideral plane. This small Boeing 737-500 has only 52 seats inside, all in business class and with the ability to recline up to 150º.
This plane was already known at Sideral for transporting football teams during games in Brazil and South America. In the photo below, for example, we can see the plane with the identification of Cruzeiro, in 2019.
The plane was photographed this weekend in Curitiba (highlighted photo), by our editor Gabriel Melo, already identified with the logo of the company that leased the aircraft temporarily.
Despite this, the flights will be carried out with a team from Sideral Linhas Aéreas, including crew and ground crew.
The tour will through the following parks and reserves:
– Anavilhanas National Park
– Jaú National Park
– Rio Unini and Rio Branco-Jauaperi Extractive Reserves
