Traffic control in São Paulo congratulates first ITA flight

This Tuesday morning (29) Itapemirim made its first flight with engers, taking off from Guarulhos on runway 09L at around 10:15 am and landing in Brasília at 11:40 am. Flight ITA0001 was carried out with the A320 registration PS-SPJ.

By calling the São Paulo Approach Control on the 124.05 frequency, the airline crew received a beautiful tribute from the FAB military. The channel AFAC Aviation recorded the conversation. Check out.

“The Brazilian Air Force and the Department of Airspace Control are honored to welcome Brazil's newest airline. We wish much success in this new journey that begins and contributes to make the airline industry even stronger”, said the FAB flight controller, who ended the message giving instructions and wishing a “excellent flight”.

The flight attendants and pilots who took flight ITA0001 this Tuesday.

The pilot of flight ITA0001 thanked the control for the tribute on behalf of the new airline, wishing for a lasting partnership between the company and the control body. 

Airbus also celebrated Itapemirim's first flight. In a statement released this morning, the manufacturer gave details of the A320ceo used by ITA: “ITA’s A320s will comfortably accommodate up to 162 engers in the widest single-aisle cabin on the market.”

“ITA has also selected NAVBLUE, an Airbus service company, to its flight operations with Electronic Flight Bag and Navigation data solutions such as Flysmart+, performance engineering programs, document management services, airport obstacles and FMS navigation databases. These solutions will contribute to the digitization of the airline's cabin, ensuring full optimization of its performance calculations.”
