A Turkish Airlines has now included Melbourne as its first destination on mainland Australia. Flights to Melbourne, Australia's most populous city, will be offered at special introductory prices, with transfers at Changi International Airport in Singapore.
With the inaugural flight in March, Turkish Airlines begins operating three weekly flights to Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria. By carrying thousands of engers on the Istanbul-Melbourne route annually, the airline will contribute to the trade and tourism volumes of both countries. With flights to be operated via transfer point in Singapore, Turkish Airlines will also have the distinction of being the only European airline currently flying to Melbourne Airport. With this addition, Turkish Airlines increases its destinations to 346, while expanding its operations to mainland Australia for the first time.
Turkish Airlines engers can travel from Istanbul to Melbourne between March 1 and 15, 2024, for 1199 US dollars, and from Melbourne to Istanbul for 999 US dollars, purchasing tickets between January 19 and April 15, 2024.
