Two new C919s will be delivered by COMAC to Air China and China Southern this Wednesday

According to Simple flying, on Wednesday, August 28th, the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) will deliver its first C919 aircraft to China Southern Airlines and Air China. These state-owned airlines will be the second and third operators of the C919, after China Eastern Airlines.

The ceremony will take place at COMAC's manufacturing facility in Pudong, near Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG). It is expected that representatives from COMAC, Air China, China Southern and the Civil Aviation istration of China (CAAC) participate. The first C919 units destined for China Southern and Air China performed their production test flights on August 3 and 9, respectively.

A China Southern will configure its first C919 with three distinct classes: business class, Pearl () economy class and economy class, totaling 164 seats.
