United Airlines replaces the 777 with the 787 on the route between São Paulo and Houston

The route between São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos, and Houston (IAH), operated by United Airlines, will have a new plane from August 1st to carry out flights UA 62 and UA 63.

the modern Boeing 787-9 of the company will replace the 777-200ER, offering a little more comfort for engers, but reducing the number of seats on daily flights between cities.

On the other hand, the Boeing 787-9 is more modern, has an updated cabin pressurization that reduces the pressurization altitude when in flight and adaptable LED lighting.

In the company's fleet, the 787-9 is configured to carry 257 engers in three classes, namely United Polaris (21 seats), Economy (39 seats) and Standard Economy (149 seats).

The Boeing 777-200ER can carry up to 276 engers per flight, in the configuration used by United on this route. Therefore, there is a reduction of 266 seats per week on the route between Guarulhos and Houston.
