This last Friday (1/07) the GOL Linhas Aéreas (GOLL4) ended a cycle of its history, with the departure of Paulo Kakinoff as CEO of the company. Celso Ferrer took his place, who has a long history working at the company, having been with the company for 17 years.
Before assuming the role of CEO, Ferrer was Vice President of Operations (COO) at GOL and has extensive knowledge of the airline, having ed as an intern, and evolved within the company since then.

Since 2019 Celso has been COO at GOL, leading the Operations, Operational Security, Airports, Planning, Network, Supplies and Fleet areas. Previously, he served as Vice President of Planning for 5 years, with extensive experience in Pricing and Alliances.
“Attention, engers: starting today, our flights will be piloted by Celso Ferrer, who will take over as CEO of our Company, while Paulo Kakinoff s GOL's Board of Directors.”

Celso graduated in Economics from USP and in International Relations from PUC-SP and also has an Executive MBA from INSEAD – . He is also an experienced airline pilot and makes up GOL's crew on the Boeing 737 fleet.
Celso Ferrer's flight plan includes the mission of leading GOL's more than 14 Employees in executing the Company's Strategic Plan, with a special focus on digital development journeys, accelerating the fleet renewal process, new services to Customers, sustainability and network expansion.
