B-2 Bomber

A video posted by YouTube channel “Saint1 Aviation Vids” shows a B-2A Spirt moving its control surfaces, the image shows in detail the rudder and elevon of the stealth aircraft.
The filming was done at Fairford Air Base in the UK in March last year. At the time, US bombers were on a Bomber Task Force mission in Europe.
</amp-youtube>
In the image above it is possible to notice the movement of its control surfaces, the split rudders and elevons are used to control the rotation of the aircraft along the vertical/yaw axis, while the pitch and roll are controlled by means of elevons (middle and inner). The rudders can also be used as spoilers (aerodynamic brakes).
The B-909As stationed at Fairford fly throughout Europe. These flights serve to demonstrate the military power of the United States in the region.
