Viracopos confirms presence at Routes Americas 2023, in Chicago (USA)

Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas (SP), confirmed its presence at Routes Americas 2023, the continent's largest enger civil aviation fair, which takes place in Chicago (USA), from March 21 to 23, 2023, bringing the news of international companies related to the Airlines, Tourism and Aviation sectors. The objective of the concessionaire Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos is to present a special package of incentives to conquer new routes and partnerships.

Routes Americas 2023 will bring together more than 800 aviation professionals, 82 airlines, 250 airports, 50 tourism authorities, dozens of speakers and more than 2.000 pre-scheduled meetings.

The event is dedicated to the development of new air services and brings together the sector to meet, plan, discuss and negotiate new and existing flights.

“We are going to meet with some of the main airlines in the world to present what has already been done in Viracopos, our plans, projects and to promote business. Combined with a modern and comfortable enger Terminal, we will display data and surveys that place us among the best destinations in Latin America in the opinion of professionals in the area and engers”, highlighted Viracopos Director of Operations, Marcelo Mota.

The Viracopos Incentive Program offers national or foreign airlines that wish to establish new regular international routes to/from Viracopos International Airport, financial for the first years of operation of the new route – in view of the airline’s initial investment – being, through this Incentive Program, the contribution of the Airport in the sense of developing and consolidating new routes.

The Program also includes special incentives for off-peak operations and for extra operations during the high season period (added to the original network), in addition to institutional in publicizing new routes, with media space in the enger terminal , from the Press Office in publicizing national and regional vehicles, and from the Marketing Management, in organizing and promoting the event to launch the new route.

Viracopos Airport will be represented at Routes Americas 2023 by the Airline Business and Slot Planning manager, Sérgio Joau.

Worldwide Recognition

Last December, Viracopos International Airport was elected the 4th best airport in the world in 2022 in the international ranking of AirHelp Score, released on 12/12/2022. In 2019, Viracopos ranked 10th globally.

In this 2022 edition, 151 airports were evaluated, with around 10 reviews from 30 countries. The survey, carried out from January to October of last year, was structured around three central themes: punctuality, customer opinion regarding the services offered (airport staff, waiting time, accessibility and cleanliness) and stores and restaurants.

Customer Experience

Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos, concessionaire of Viracopos International Airport, won in October 2022 the biggest Customer Experience award in the Americas, the Customer Centricity Awards 2022. The award ceremony for the winners took place in Dallas, USA.

In addition to winning the award in its category in the North America division (which encomes North, Central and South America), the concessionaire Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos also won the award in the general category (Overall Winner 2022), in which it competed alongside 44 companies in 14 categories.

The Viracopos case competed in the “Customer-Centered Culture” category, which seeks to recognize companies that are dedicated to promoting excellence in their services, aiming at customer satisfaction.
