Event takes place in the restricted area overlooking aircraft
Staying very close to the planes and still practicing your favorite sport, there's no way not to be a fun program. This is how 1.100 runners will be on the morning of next Sunday (10). The Hangar Race lands on the Vitória airport, with a route 100% within the airfield facilities.
With the possibility of running in two distances, 06 and 12 km, runners from all over the state will participate in one of the most awaited sporting events of the year in the capital. In addition to the race, there will be a 3km walk, where even children will be free to live this experience.
“We understand airports as places that are part of the life of the city, being a place for walks and good experiences, and that is why we are very happy to host the event. The Hangar Race comes to mark a gradual and safe resumption of entertainment actions and the first of many events that we wish to and promote”, said the airport's CEO, Ricardo Gesse.
The start is scheduled for 7:30 am, and the first 3 places in the male and female categories of each distance (6km and 12km) will be awarded. At 7:50 am it's time for the walking crew to start, and walk the runway in a safe environment and very close to the world of aviation.
