The month of October carries an important message and colors the city and country in pink in many places. Zurich Airport Brasil recognizes the relevance of Pink October and to show for such a fundamental campaign, it illuminated the Vitória airport with pink color.
Thematic lighting projects the tone throughout the terminal's façade and reminds engers and visitors of the importance of preventing and early diagnosis of breast cancer and, more recently, cervical cancer. The concessionaire lit up the terminal building and the control tower, which can be seen from Rodovia das eiras.
For the action, the used a gelatinous filter, which works as a film over 34 lamps spread across the facade. Visitors who want to enjoy it can head to the airport every day of the week at dusk. The lamps are automatically activated by photocell sensors.
