Volaris Airbus A320 has two tires blown out during landing in Mexico

An Airbus A320 of the Mexican airline Volaris, had two of its tires blown out during a landing at León International Airport in Mexico.

The incident occurred on August 12th, the Airbus A320 of Volaris with registration XA-VLB had the two tires of the left landing gear burst.

Despite what happened, the Mexican aircraft managed to slow down safely and stopped on runway 13 at León Airport. 

Volaris issued a note stating that the aircraft had two tires on the left landing gear caused by a puncture during landing. There were no injuries from the incident and the aircraft was recalled for maintenance.
