The airplane was delivered to the airline in August of this year, after a series of negotiations between Volga and Boeing. The total order is for up to 29 aircraft of this model, which is expected to replace the 747-400F in the Volga-Dnepr fleet.

The 777F can transport up to 106 tons of cargo in its interior, and in Volga-Dnepr, it will be operated by the subsidiary AirBridgeCargo. The first flight was between Moscow, Russia, and Seoul, South Korea, on December 22nd.

The first load of the aircraft was medical material, something important, especially in this complicated moment of world health, with an increase in cases of Covid-19.
