This feature allows the PC-24 to operate on an incredible number of runways throughout Brazil, making this aircraft an extremely versatile alternative, especially for the agribusiness sector. It arrives in the 8+2 configuration (eight seats and two pilots) and is scheduled to land at São Paulo Catarina Executive Airport, in São Roque, at 10:30 am.

Amaro Aviation works on the concept of fractional ownership, a model of shared ownership of aircraft designed to expand access by entrepreneurs and executives to the advantages of private aviation. The company also operates in aircraft management and, within a few months, as an air taxi. In partnership with C_FLY Aviation, the Amaro Aviation already manages the largest fleet of Gulfstream jets in the country.

The company chose the São Paulo Catarina Executive Airport, in São Roque, 35 minutes by car from the city of São Paulo and 14 minutes by helicopter as the base for its operations in Brazil. With a 2.470 m runway, state-of-the-art private terminals and 50 square meters of hangars, Catarina was inaugurated in December 2019.

The airport operates 24 hours a day with no restrictions on operating hours and has the capacity to receive 200 takeoffs and landings per year of national and international flights.

The founder and chairman of Amaro Aviation is Marcos Amaro, son of Commander Rolim Amaro, a pioneer of Brazilian aviation and creator of TAM – today LATAM Airlines.

Marcos is a businessman and artist, former owner of the Óticas Carol chain and founder of the FAMA Museum.

To direct the company, he sought Captain David Barioni, an aviation veteran and a reference in flight safety in Brazil and abroad. CEO and partner of Amaro Aviation, Barioni was vice president and founder of GOL and president of TAM itself in the 2000s, having later chaired ApexBrasil and SP Turis.

The infrastructure area is in charge of another partner, Commander Francisco Lyra. With more than forty years in aviation, Lyra is CEO and partner of C_FLY Aviation and CEO of GATGRU, general aviation terminal at Guarulhos International Airport. He is one of the founders of São Paulo Catarina Executive International Airport, in São Roque.
